Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4 pm to 2:30 am

$17/hour - Great benefits after 30 days!

Purpose of Role:

The primary responsibility of this role is to safely and efficiently load and unload customer trailers, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards. Forklift Operators will also be tasked with moving materials across the operation to meet production requirements and assist in manual hand-sorting of pallets according to product specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols to support the achievement of the Plan to Zero (PTZ) safety goal.
    • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company-specific safety behaviors, processes, and procedures. (Training and certification to be provided)
  • Quality Management:
    • Accurately sort pallets by product type, manufacturer, and quality grade, based on visual inspections.
  • Production Support:
    • Meet and sustain production and quality targets consistently.
    • Perform other tasks assigned by site leadership to support daily operations.
  • Team Collaboration and Values:
    • Work effectively within a diverse team environment, adhering to the company’s mission and values.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization by practicing "Clean as You Go" and adhering to good housekeeping standards.
  • Lift up to 70 lbs. regularly throughout the shift.
  • Perform tasks involving repetitive motions, i.e. bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Familiarity with pallet jack operation.
  • Previous forklift experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
