The Opportunity

Support the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility. Focusing on our customers’ success will allow you opportunities to develop and grow your career in manufacturing.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure that all units are banded properly, have a clearly visible load tag, and that there are no broken or missing straps on the units.
• Perform the last visual quality inspection on finished product, confirm that unit and truck counts are correct, and that all paperwork is accurate.
• Process inventory control and cycle counts using RF Scanners and internal computerized system.
• Unloading received materials as needed, perform a visual quality inspection on received items and confirm that delivered unit and truck counts are accurate.

What You Need To Succeed

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification with 3-5 years forklift experience working in a fast-paced environment (preferred).
• Read and understand an order spec sheet and load tags.
• Understand unitizing and palletizing information.
• Able to successfully complete Lift Truck Training and pass the written and driving skills test to become a certified Lift Truck Operator.
• Adapt and have ability to fit into plant safety culture.
