Job summary

Sadoff-Iron-&-Metal-Compan is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials and products within the facility, load/unload trucks, and assist customers. The role requires handling metals safely, maintaining equipment, and supporting various departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• One to two years of related experience.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment used in metal recycling industry is preferred, not required.
• Satisfactorily pass forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of forklift in an on-site test.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move materials and products within the facility.
• Load and unload trucks and transport materials to designated areas.
• Sort metals and inspect for quality during handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate operations.
