Job summary

You will comply with safety requirements, follow Trojan Battery quality policies, verify quantities with suppliers, and maintain housekeeping in production, warehouse, and loading zones.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic math, reading/writing English, and a forklift certificate; six months of related experience; Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or greater.
• Read, write, and speak basic English.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Forklift Driver Certificate.
• Minimum six months’ experience in production, warehouse, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety requirements and proper PPE usage.
• Understand Trojan Battery Quality Policies and apply them.
• Ensure machine operators have required materials at all times.
• Meet suppliers to receive and verify materials meet order quantity.
• Move batteries and materials to and from shipping areas.
• Remove scrap and hazardous waste to reclamation area and prepare paperwork.
• Maintain housekeeping and weight/labeling compliance.
• Load/unload batteries and materials onto/off trucks as needed.
• Available for various shifts and overtime.
