Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Material Handler 1 to receive, store, and distribute materials across our assembly lines. You will ensure accurate delivery, move material to use points, and keep the work area organized and safe.

Forklift operation and adherence to safety guidelines are essential. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in material handling, basic math skills, and knowledge of JDE Material Handler Menu or forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in material handling required.
• Verbal and written instruction follow-through is essential; ability to read drawings and blueprints preferred.
• Basic math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute materials and equipment.
• Ensure correct delivery and shipment of materials.
• Perform work within task/cycle time and per work instructions.
• Move material to point of use and keep area around assembly line neat.
• Inform personnel of material shortages.
• Check in and place materials from other cells.
• Operate forklift.
• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area.
• Practice 5S in the workplace.
