Job summary

FLOGISTIX LP in El Reno, OK is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator / Material Handler to safely operate forklifts and move materials within the warehouse and yard. You will unload, stage, and load materials for fabrication, finishing, and shipping, while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

The role requires daily use of forklifts, adherence to safety policies, and collaboration with production teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Ability to verify received items against packing slips.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials from vendor trucks and verify received items against packing slips for accuracy and quality.
• Stage materials for fabrication teams in accordance with production procedures.
• Move fabricated units to finishing areas and transfer finished units to designated yard areas.
• Load completed units onto trucks for customer shipments or transfers to other locations; perform washing/touch-up as needed.
• Inspect trucks, forklifts, and related equipment daily using pre-shift checklists to ensure proper maintenance and operability.
• Remove pallets and packing materials from production areas and dispose of them properly.
• Adhere to housekeeping policies to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Collaborate closely with production personnel to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Monitor work areas for potential safety hazards and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and production needs
