Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move materials within a production facility in Sparta, TN. The role requires operating a forklift and ensuring materials are loaded, unloaded, and properly documented.

You will monitor inventory, weigh materials, and support continuous production lines in a fast-paced setting. Minimum requirements include a GED or high school diploma and an OSHA forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current OSHA forklift certification.
• Ability to operate forklift safely in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to stack and retrieve supplies and materials.
• Load trucks and secure products per customer requirements.
• Load/unload materials from pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Monitor material usage and supply production lines with raw materials.
• Weigh materials or products and record results on tags or schedules.
• Keep production lines supplied with raw materials.
• Inventory products and label, sort, wrap and tie as needed.
• Unload and stack material by raising/lowering the lifting device.
• Overtime may be required as needed by business.
