Job summary

Masterson Staffing is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift in the Fabrication department. The role involves transporting supplies and parts, maintaining inventory, and handling related documentation.

Forklift operation is required and accuracy in Oracle transactions is essential. Responsibilities include coordinating with supervisors for timely setups, organizing materials, reporting shortages, and assisting operators to improve department efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, speak and understand).
• Ability to prioritize work with minimal direction.
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and time management skills.
• Forklift certified and able to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Supervisor/Lead to ensure timely set-ups to avoid/downtime.
• Organize, store, transport parts and supplies and complete paperwork (routers, tags with part numbers).
• Maintain accurate inventory.
• Report shortages/overages and supply needs to Supervisor.
• Operate forklift.
• Complete transactions in Oracle accurately and timely.
• Assist Operators in delivering Fabrication parts to maximize department efficiency.
• Remove and distribute empty pallets and baskets as needed.
• Place parts in proper location and clearly write on router.
