Job summary

Lippert Components, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a materials handler to move raw and finished materials through all production phases, ensuring smooth flow and on-time delivery.

You will join a team, follow safety rules, manage raw material inventory and paperwork, operate a lift truck, move chassis between stations, and support production with flexible duties as priorities shift.

Strong organizational skills, the ability to read work orders, and teamwork are essential in this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team to achieve company goals.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills (English).
• Able to read and process work orders, delivery receipts, frame prints and measurements.
• Able to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to operate a Lift Truck or Tractor as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Observance of all safety rules and policies.
• Maintenance of raw material inventory (frame parts, I-beam, etc.), including unloading deliveries.
• Coordination of necessary paperwork at material receipt.
• Movement of raw materials through the production area.
• Movement of chassis through production area.
• Movement of completed chassis from production area to holding or coating areas.
• Movement of completed chassis to drying area or holding area.
• Maintenance of exterior yard (plowing, grading, etc.).
• Rotation of position within the production team structure as needed.
• Assistance in repair work as necessary.
