Job summary

Qualifications

• One to two years of related experience
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment used in metal recycling industry
• Satisfactorily pass forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of forklift in an on-site test

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move materials and products around the facility
• Load and unload trucks and transport materials to designated areas
• Handle nonferrous and ferrous materials safely and with quality control
• Perform routine forklift maintenance and report issues
• Maintain clean, organized work area and collaborate with teams
• Inspect materials for defects and assist in resolving quality problems
