Job summary

thyssenkrupp Supply Chain Services is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move raw materials, finished goods, and equipment within the facility. You will operate a forklift, potentially use a Kaltenbach saw, and perform tasks on the warehouse floor under supervision.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, picking and packing orders, cycle counts, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. A strong safety mindset and ability to work around heavy machinery are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 feet.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Previous forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Move materials using a forklift and other moving equipment.
• Accurately remove and stock product according to inventory plan and fill customer orders.
• Load and unload trucks; verify correct items are loaded/unloaded.
• Pick, process and pack orders; may cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Complete cycle counts and identify defective material.
• Complete paperwork per work instructions when required.
• Perform general clean up and report forklift issues at shift start.
• Support health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives and requirements.
• Assist in other duties to support operations as directed.
