Job summary

Liberty Packaging, a division of Liberty Diversified International, seeks a full-time Forklift Operator - Material Handler for our Brooklyn Park, MN facility. You will safely move goods, scan inventory, and prepare shipments in a busy, high-traffic environment.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, performing pre-shift inspections, and ensuring accurate data entry. Some overtime, weekends, and holidays are required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution and 1+ year experience operating mobile equipment or comparable experience.
• Typing, printing, and data entry skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to read, follow, and complete detailed work instructions.
• Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a high-traffic industrial setting.
• Use electronic scanning to track inventory levels and locations.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and report defects.
• Prepare shipments, consolidate pallets, and operate shrink wrap equipment.
• Move products throughout the facility, load/unload trailers.
• Follow safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
