Job summary

Liberty Packaging - Twin Cities in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a Forklift Operator - Material Handler to safely move goods throughout a busy facility and accurately scan inventory as part of daily operations.

You will operate forklifts, prep shipments, and assist with loading/unloading, while adhering to safety guidelines. 1+ year of forklift experience and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required and 1+ year experience operating mobile equipment or equivalent.
• Experience with computer tasks such as typing, printing, and data entry.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Able to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts or other material handling equipment in a high traffic environment.
• Use electronic scanning to track inventory levels and locations.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and report faults.
• Prepare shipments and consolidate pallets; operate shrink wrap machine.
• Move products throughout the facility including loading/unloading trailers.
• Follow safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
