Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Material Handler in California to move, load, and unload materials, operate forklift equipment, and support production across Maintenance, Warehouse, Forge, and Quality Control departments.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–6 months of related experience. Applicants must be able to lift up to 35 pounds, read and interpret safety and operation documents, and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Moves levers and pedals to drive truck and control lifting movements.
• Positions forks and lifting devices to move pallets, skids, boxes, and products to designated areas.
• Unloads and stacks materials using lifting devices.
• Inventories materials on the work floor and supplies workers as needed.
• Weighs materials or products and records weights on tags or schedules as required.
• Verifies accuracy of parts leaving the facility using purchase orders.
