Job summary

Wastequip in Tyler, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator (Material Handler) to move raw materials, parts and finished goods around the plant and to support multiple departments. You’ll operate a forklift, verify quantities, stock materials, and assist production while maintaining safety standards and 5S discipline.

The position starts at $16.28 per hour and requires 1+ year forklift experience and certification.

Qualifications

• 1+ years forklift experience in a production environment.
• Ability to be forklift certified.
• Attention to detail and care.
• Maintain materials in order on racks and floor.
• Accurate records and basic math operations.
• Follow instructions with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and stock incoming raw materials.
• Supply production with materials and parts as required.
• Transfer finished goods to holding and loading areas.
• Perform safety inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE.
• Ensure compliance with 5S standards.
