Job summary

Wastequip is actively seeking a Forklift Operator (Material Handler) at our Tyler, TX plant. Work hours are 4:00 PM - 1:30 AM with an hourly rate of $16.28 plus a $2 shift differential. You will move raw materials, parts and finished goods across the facility to support multiple departments.

The role requires forklift certification, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and 5S practices while maintaining accurate records and inventory across racks and staging areas.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of forklift experience in a production environment.
• Forklift certification required.
• Attention to detail and careful handling of materials.
• Ability to organize goods on racks and staging areas.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and stock incoming raw materials.
• Supply production with materials and parts as required to meet production demands.
• Transfer finished goods to holding and/or loading areas.
• Perform safety inspections and simple routine maintenance to ensure tools remain safe and fully operational.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear required PPE at all times.
• Ensure that workplace is maintained in compliance with 5S standards.
