Job summary

American Trim is seeking dependable Material Handlers / Forklift Operators to safely move raw materials, components, coils and finished goods across the facility, supporting continuous production flow. Activities include loading, unloading, and maintaining accurate inventory while following strict safety procedures.

The role requires ability to operate forklifts, read work orders and use QAD or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift/powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Must complete American Trim's forklift training and certification.
• High school-level reading, writing and basic math skills.
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn and accurately perform inventory transactions in QAD.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and move materials throughout the facility.
• Record inventory movements and maintain accuracy in designated systems.
• Support production with raw materials, components and finished goods.
• Load and unload materials, and prepare shipping documents as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow all safety procedures.
• Communicate shortages or issues to supervisors in a timely manner.
