Aerotek is seeking a Forklift Operator / Material Handler for our Torrance, CA facility. You will operate forklifts, handle materials, assist with shipping and inventory control, and participate in assembly of protective cases and lighting products.

This role requires experience with stand-up and sit-down forklifts, RF scanners, and basic data entry, with shift options in the 2nd or 3rd period. Safety, reliability, and teamwork are essential in our clean, team-focused environment.

Competenze

• Experience operating forklifts (stand-up and sit-down).
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
• Ability to lift 7–35 pounds repeatedly.
• Familiarity with inventory control and RF scanning.
• Accurate data entry for inventory, shipping, receiving.
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift (2:00 pm–10:30 pm or 10:00 pm–6:00 am).
• Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.

Mansioni

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to move materials.
• Handle materials for shipping, receiving, and inventory control with accurate labeling and documentation.
• Use RF scanners for inventory transactions and product movement.
• Support shipping/receiving by loading/unloading and staging materials.
• Perform data entry for inventory, shipping, and receiving tasks with accuracy.
• Assemble heavy-duty protective cases and fit foam inserts as specified.
• Work on flashlight line assembling mid-size flashlights per specs.
• Use drills, hammers, and rivet machines for assembly and packaging.
• Operate shrink wrap machines for packaging as needed.
• Lift and move 7–35 lb items throughout shifts; maintain safety.
