Position Summary

Crescent FLO-MH’s are expected to perform all assigned material handler duties and to operate forklift equipment, as needed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Safety

  • Read and understand the Crescent Safety Playbook – Doing it Safe
  • Ensure a work environment that is safe and maintained where our people could safely grow and develop
  • Continually seek out and remove all forms of risk
  • Report all safety incidents, near misses, and accidents
  • Comply with all OSHA, ISO, and company standards
  • Comes to a complete stop at all pedestrian walkways when driving equipment
  • Completes daily equipment inspection checklists as required by site

Productivity

  • Ensure and verify all receiving, picking, packing, and shipping are performed accurately.
  • Pack, sort, and stack products throughout the shift and review completed tasks for accuracy and completion.
  • Perform all activities, utilizing tools and equipment (scales, RF guns, auto-bagger, IT systems) to maximize output.
  • Ensure all bins and work areas/stations are maintained in an orderly, organized, and trash-free manner.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy
  • Operates all relevant forklift equipment (cherry picker, wave unit, sit-down, stand-up) as needed.
  • Efficiently load and unload trailers to maintain turnaround times for each dock appointment

  • Responsible for production accuracy and for providing feedback to management regarding errors
  • Reliable in attendance and punctuality; completes assigned responsibilities to satisfaction; follows through with commitments.
  • Follows rules and code of conduct at work; demonstrates ethical behavior at work

Work Environment / Physical Demands

  • Fast-paced environment, requiring Material Handlers to adapt to continuous changes in priorities, volumes, and staffing requirements.
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch for an extended period of time
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to make repetitive motions, including typing for several hours.
  • Walk on concrete floors for extended periods while in the facility.
  • Ability to work and operate in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Possess the necessary level of hand/eye coordination to safely operate industrial equipment

Qualifications

Desired Education, Experience, & Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to follow English written and oral instructions

  • Prior experience operating forklift equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of prior material handling and/or warehousing experience
  • Regulatory cGMP manufacturing experience
  • Forklift certified
  • Word processing, database, and spreadsheet knowledge
  • Detail oriented
  • Flexibility with hours worked

Pay Range: $17 USD - $17 USD
