Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Forklift Operator/Material Handler based in West Hazleton, PA, to work 12 hour day shifts (6:30am to 7:00pm). The role involves operating a forklift, moving materials, supporting production lines, and ensuring accurate inventory and finished goods staging.

The position requires forklift experience, solid communication, and the ability to work under pressure while following safety and GMP policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within instructions and routines.
• Communicates effectively and collaborates well with others.

Responsibilities

• Follow all established safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
• Perform safety lift truck inspections and battery checks; report malfunctions.
• Assist in priority production lines and maintain material flow.
• Provide accurate information of unloaded materials and materials used or produced to warehouse personnel.
• Maintain records of materials used and produced; complete required paperwork.
• Move finished goods to warehouse and staging areas and verify product codes.
• Participate in physical inventory and stock handling as needed.
• Relieve stock handlers during breaks and assist with loadings/unloadings.
