Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Minster, Ohio is hiring a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator. The role involves warehouse duties with stand-up forklifts, shipping/receiving, and cycle counting.

Base pay is $23.00 per hour, with a $0.50 raise after 6 months and after 1 year. Overtime pays $34.50/hr. Eligible productivity incentives can add up to $10/hr, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines and ensure accurate picking/packing and tote induction.
• Handle paperwork related to warehouse activities (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Material Handler Positions Pay Weekly
Up to $26 per hour (including productivity incentives)

• Base pay: $23.00 per hour
• .50 increase after 6 mo and 1 year
• Overtime Pay: $34.50 per hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified

Responsibilities

• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
