Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Jefferson City, MO, is seeking a Material Handler to support the production team with day-to-day material distribution within the plant. Hours are 6AM–2PM and base pay is $26.65 per hour.

You will pull parts from storage, coordinate with production, perform SAP transfers, and maintain 5S standards to keep areas safe and organized. Experience with forklifts and SAP or ERP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires good communication skills, attention to detail, basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams)
• Must have familiarity with powered material handling equipment (PMHE), such as forklift or motorized pallet jack.
• Previous experience with SAP or other ERP system preferred
• 6+ months direct forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Process pick requests from Production team (coordinate with different production departments on parts needed)
• Pull parts from material storage based on Kanban card and deliver to different production areas
• Monitor material requirement signals and replenish parts or move finished parts to next routing cell or shipping
• Complete SAP transfers to required, defined storage locations
• Keep material staging and storage areas safe, neat, clean and orderly per 5S Standards
• Advise supervisor of any irregularities in day-to-day operation
• Other duties as assigned
