Job summary

W International is a Goose Creek, SC-based metal fabricator seeking a material handler. You will operate a forklift, move and log material, verify inventories, and assist with daily equipment checks to support production.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a steel fabrication facility.
• Fast-paced environment; ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic mathematics knowledge.
• Ability to read tape measure and measurement tools.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Work in varying temperatures; operate a powered industrial truck.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the MP&L Supervisor.
• Operate forklift to move material and maintain organized layout.
• Log material in E2 for tracking and costing.
• Perform daily inventory verifications and equipment inspections.
• Coordinate material pulls for processing and communicate with supervision.
• Follow OSHA standards and keep the facility clean and safe.
