Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking Forklift Operators at the Tuscumbia, AL location.

This full-time role involves operating industrial forklifts to move, stack, and transport lumber products with standard shift hours from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, with additional hours possible. As a key member of our supply chain, you will manage palletized loads, maintain inventory records on the shop floor, and support material handling across the facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have previous forklift experience.
• Lumber experience a plus!

Responsibilities

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed.

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. producer of Yellawood® brand Pressure-Treated Pine is seeking FORKLIFT OPERATORS for the location in Tuscumbia, AL. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and full benefit package.

Summary

Drives industrial forklift truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties. Regular shift hours are 3PM -11PM, Monday-Friday. Additional hours can be expected.
