Job summary

Novo Distribution Llc is seeking a Forklift Operator in Dallas, TX to move products around the warehouse using a forklift and RF scanners. You will ensure secure handling and accurate scanning to designated locations, while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires vigilance on safety, ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work a 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM shift; overtime may be required. Novo offers competitive wages and benefits as part of a comprehensive program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to move heavy loads and operate a forklift safely.
• Flexibility in scheduling including overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift to move product and pallets throughout warehouse to an area safely.
• Communicates any discrepancies, product issues or safety issues with Supervisor.
• Ensures that product is moved and scanned using a radio frequency scanner to the correct location and confirm product labels are accurate.
• Maintains a clean and safe area free and clear of any debris.
• Anticipates the needs of the business, keeping like product together and accessible.
• May place standup items into designated areas by hand as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
