Job summary

Atlas Roofing Shingle and Underlayments in Clinton, IA is seeking a Forklift Driver / Fork Truck Operator for a 24/7 manufacturing facility. The role requires operating forklifts safely, loading and unloading materials, and supporting production and shipping with accurate handling and inventory control.

Expected start in October/November 2026. Candidates should be able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed to support operations.

Qualifications

• Adhere to PPE and safety policies and procedures.
• Operate forklifts in accordance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Load/unload, transport, stage, and store materials and finished goods.
• Verify product IDs, quantities, and load accuracy before shipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely.
• Move materials to production lines and storage areas.
• Prepare and stage customer orders per schedules and load plans.
• Inspect equipment before shifts and report issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory transactions and cycle counts.
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and production teams.
