Job summary

Suncoast Post-Tension is seeking a reliable Forklift Loader to safely operate a sit-down forklift and move post-tensioning materials in the yard. You will stage, load flatbeds, verify counts, and document shipments in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining load balance and accuracy, following safety protocols, and performing daily equipment checks. English is required for paperwork and communication with drivers and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Direct experience with flatbed truck loading and load stability.
• Prior experience handling rebar or post-tensioning materials is highly preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently for paperwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate a heavy-duty sit-down forklift to move rebar and materials across the yard.
• Properly sequence, balance, and secure loads on flatbeds for transport.
• Locate, pull, and stage materials per shipping manifests and loading orders.
• Verify item counts and paperwork to ensure order accuracy before shipment.
• Read and fill out shipping documents, pick lists, and safety logs in English.
• Conduct daily pre-shift forklift inspections and maintain a clean yard environment.
