Job summary

Suncoast Post-Tension is seeking a Forklift Loader to safely operate a sit-down forklift, move rebar and post-tensioning materials, and load them onto flatbed trucks. This role requires outdoor work in all weather and strict safety adherence.

The ideal candidate has proven forklift experience in industrial settings, plus familiarity with load staging, accurate counting, and documentation in English. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work overtime as

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift in an industrial setting.
• Direct experience with flatbed truck loading, including weight distribution and load stability.
• Prior experience handling rebar or post-tensioning materials is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a heavy-duty sit-down forklift to move rebar, post-tensioning coils, and related materials across the yard.
• Sequence, balance, and secure loads onto flatbed trailers for safe transit.
• Locate, pull, and stage materials according to shipping manifests and loading orders.
• Verify item counts, bundle tags, and product descriptions for 100% order accuracy before shipment.
• Read, interpret, and fill out shipping documents, pick lists, and safety logs in English.
• Conduct daily pre-shift forklift inspections and maintain a clean, hazard-free yard.
