Job summary

GPS Jobsis is seeking a Forklift Operator/Packaging Operator in Vance, SC. The role offers $16/hr starting pay with a temp-to-hire path and benefits after hire. Schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays, first shift 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (Thu) or 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. (Fri).

Responsibilities include operating forklift, supervising bagging lines, packaging products to spec, inspecting weights and labels, and maintaining a safe, clean work area. Prior forklift experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Manufacturing or production experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move materials.
• Operate and monitor packaging equipment.
• Package finished products according to quality and safety standards.
• Inspect bags for correct weight, seals, and labeling.
• Load bags, liners, and labels into equipment.
• Identify and report equipment or quality issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work with the team to meet daily production goals.

What You Will Need

• Strong attention to detail and basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods andlift upto 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime
