Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Key West, FL is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator. The role offers a first shift 7:00 am–3:30 pm with hourly pay of $20.10 and weekly pay.

You will work in a clean facility supporting distribution across the US, operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks. Responsibilities include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and handling related paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record and personal vehicle; travel within area ~25–50% of day.
• Strong technical aptitude including using Outlook, Word and Excel, scanners, and entering orders into a WMS.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Indoor and outdoor work.
• 1+ year warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred

• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
