Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Illinois team. This role operates a stand-up forklift, pulls and prepares outbound orders, and uses RF devices to sort and scan items. You will receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while adhering to PPE rules.

The position requires 1–3 years of warehouse experience, high attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Pre-employment drug and background screening are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid state issued license is required.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Maintain a clean workspace and follow safety rules, PPE included.
