Sherwood Lumber Corporation in Palmer, MA is seeking a Warehouseman 1 to operate forklifts and manage receiving, stocking, and shipping of product. This full-time, on-site role supports the Operations team and reports to the Operations Supervisor.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, forklift certification, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Applicants should be comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse, with attention to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Forklift Certification required (employer-provided upon hire).
• Experience with warehouse machinery and forklifts preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic measurements and labels.

Responsabilités

• Operate forklifts and other designated vehicles to move materials within the warehouse.
• Process and fulfill orders by retrieving materials and staging for shipment.
• Sort, label, and store materials maintaining accurate inventory.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing products for quality before shipment.
• Prepare parcels and shipping documents in compliance with company standards.
• Maintain safety compliance and a clean, organized work environment.
