Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking forklift operators for a full-time position with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

The role involves operating an industrial forklift to move and stack products, unload materials, and maintain inventory records. Essential duties include driving the forklift, positioning pallets, unloading and stacking materials, and ensuring accurate inventory tracking on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Must have previous forklift experience.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed
• Keeps record of inventory.
