Job summary

Cambro Manufacturing Company is seeking a MFG Forklift Operator for first shift in the United States. The role involves wrapping, staging, and transferring finished goods and WIP using forklift and pallet jack, plus performing move tickets, license plate transactions, and related inventory tasks to keep production flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3–6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English is required.
• Mathematical skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to successfully operate a sit-down forklift and the reach truck equipment
• Experience using previous warehouse management system to perform system transactions.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift certification

Responsibilities

• Move and stack boxes to keep orderly before wrapping.
• Move marked pallets to staging locations with forklift or pallet jack.
• Wrap pallets and ensure identification through stretch wrap.
• Create move tickets and license plate transactions using Intermec scanner.
• Perform cycle counting and year-end inventory transactions.
• Support production by staging WIP and finished goods as needed.
• Maintain clean work environment and safety; wear PPE.
• Load/unload trailers with finished goods pallets and WIP.
• Communicate schedule status with supervisors and managers.
• Operate forklifts as needed to transport materials and assist departments.
