Job summary

The Clamp is seeking a Forklift Operator II to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse. You will operate multiple forklift types, with 50%+ of time on equipment, and may assist with order filling or checking as needed.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm. The base hourly rate is $22.30/hour with a robust benefits package and paid time off. NFI and The Clamp encourage diverse applicants and fair treatment in pay discussions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred 2+ years forklift operation experience.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competence.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures.
• Performs pre-operation inspections and documents them.
• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated rack locations.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and transports product to storage locations.
• Pulls, stages, and prepares products for outbound shipment.
• Verifies correct quantity and product type are loaded and shipped.
• Performs order picking with accuracy and speed.
• Moves product from staging areas into trailers for outbound loads.
• Maintains documentation to support inventory accuracy.
