The Forklift Operator role ensures safe operation of powered industrial equipment, moving, loading, unloading, stacking, and labeling goods to support shipping and receiving. A background in forklift operation and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years forklift operating experience.
• Licensed forklift operator or able to obtain Forklift Operator license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution.
• Load, unload, and store products and materials.
• Stack and transport materials to designated areas.
• Scan product and print labels.
• Complete paperwork and operate inventory systems as needed.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Complete cycle counts as required.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks.
• Ensure SQFI, FDA, and customer readiness for inspections.
• Communicate and report incidents to supervisor.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
