Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated is seeking a Forklift Operator II in Sandston, VA to move and manage material throughout the facility using forklifts and pallet jacks. The role emphasizes safety, documentation accuracy, and efficient loading/unloading of assets.

Responsibilities include securing outbound loads, updating SAP/CONA handhelds, and performing routine pre/post-trip checks in a non-temperature-controlled, noisy environment. CDL may be required in some cases.

Qualifications

• Forklift, pallet jack certification required.
• Switcher operation certification required.
• Class A CDL where required.

Responsibilities

• Move, load and unload assets using material handling equipment.
• Secure outbound loads with protective wrapping and attach proper documentation.
• Update SAP/CONA handhelds for inbound/outbound loads.
• Perform safety housekeeping tasks and pre/post-trip checks.
• Assist with staging equipment and yard maintenance.
• Operate a switcher to maneuver trailers to the dock.
