Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Roanoke is seeking a Forklift Operator II to manage material flow across the facility using forklifts and pallet jacks. You will ensure loads are secured, documented, and moved efficiently within a busy environment.

The role requires certification in forklift/pallet jack, switcher operation, and possibly Class A CDL where needed; you will work from early shifts, perform safety checks, and support loading and yard operations to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Forklift and pallet jack certification required.
• Switcher operation certification.
• Class A CDL if required by role.
• Ability to read and follow written SOPs.
• Experience operating multiple material handling equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Move and load equipment using forklift and pallet jack.
• Secure outbound loads and attach proper documentation (STO).
• Load/unload trailers and update SAP/CONA for inbound/outbound inventory.
• Perform pre/post-trip safety checks and keep area clean.
• Assist with staging equipment and yard maintenance.
• Operate a switcher to maneuver 53' and pup trailers to dock.
