Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 9th-grade basic education.
• GED or high school diploma preferred but not required.
• 6 months to 1 year forklift experience.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques.
• Forklift driver licensing process must be completed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and rail cars.
• Move material between storage areas and work zones.
• Break down packs and label material before loading.
• Provide general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete preshift startup equipment checklist.
• Maintain yard, keeping it organized and clean.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Follow forklift rules and company policies.
• Participate in safety, CI, and other programs/meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.
