Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Atlanta is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support loading and unloading of freight, and to contribute to safe, efficient warehouse operations.

You will handle cargo from incoming trucks, operate manual equipment and forklift, verify counts, and ensure proper documentation and labeling.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, a valid driver’s license preferred, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; we offer robust benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years related experience; 1 year industry experience preferred.
• Forklift Driver Certification; Valid state driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
• Team-oriented with ability to follow instructions and complete checklists.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Manage cargo from incoming trucks by hand or using manual equipment or forklift.
• Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received; ensure proper documentation.
• Sort cargo by account or destination and label freight accordingly.
• Perform forklift duties and learn to containerize basic loads.
• Monitor warehouse maintenance tasks such as sweeping and equipment storage.
