Position Summary:

Forklift Operator II is responsible for cross-trained duties in all functional areas related to daily lift truck operations at the Fort Worth facility.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Staging Orders: Accurately complete order selection and stage orders for loading, following proper procedures including RF system use, documentation, and product selection.
2. Loading Trucks: Properly load customer orders onto trucks, adhering to safety protocols, equipment inspections, and RF system processes.
3. Receiving: Receive packaging, ingredients, and finished goods, ensuring proper storage, rotation, quality, and documentation.
4. Production Support: Support manufacturing by moving finished goods, managing temperature requirements, and conducting proper scanning for reconciliation.
5. Troubleshooting: Address inventory issues, manage defective materials, and perform location adjustments accurately.
6. Warehouse Safety: Understand and follow safety procedures including battery handling, pallet exchanges, allergen compliance, and vehicle inspections.
7. Deck Supply Support: Manage ingredient issuing and storage, following proper tote storage protocols.
8. FSMA: Comply with Food Safety Modernization Act standards.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• At least one year of stand-up forklift experience and certification.
• Good math skills, proficiency with RF systems, computers, and calculators.
• Effective communication skills.
• Understanding of safety procedures and issue reporting.
