Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. seeks a dependable Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift in Michigan. You will operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move product, load and unload trailers, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

A strong candidate will hold forklift certification and have warehouse experience. The role requires the ability to work overtime as needed, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including overtime.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Display a commitment to process excellence.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.
