Shaw Industries in Cypress, CA is seeking a Forklift Operator II for the 2nd shift to build custom orders and efficiently move merchandise between trailers and storage areas for shipping.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a lift truck and handling pallets.
• Able to read shipping paperwork and complete related records.
• Comfort working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Responsabilités

• Receive pull tasks and retrieve correct material with a lift truck.
• Transport pallets to/from locations and trailers.
• Complete required paperwork and packaging for shipment.
• Wrap and prepare items on pallets for shipping.
• Perform basic dock and package repairs as needed.
• Assist with dock plate operations and trailer positioning.

Position works out of Cypress CA.

$23.14 Per Hour

Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Essential Functions

• Receiving a pull task with information on the hard surface material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck.
• Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from location.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Wrap and band hard surface materials prepared on pallets.
• Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
• Tape and repair any damaged packages.
• Raise/Lower dock plate
• Use orange cone system for full or empty trailers
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit or stand on lift truck for the entire shift.
• Must be able to mount/dismount lift truck on an average 15 times per hour while using three points of contact
• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment which may be quite warm or cool.
