NFI is seeking a Forklift Operator II to join our warehouse team. You will operate forklifts safely, perform pre-operation checks, and move merchandise to storage locations with accuracy.

You will also unload inbound shipments, stage outbound orders, and assist with cycle counts while maintaining documentation for inventory control and product security. A valid NFI certification is required.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years forklift operation experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Overview

The Forklift Operator II is responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse environment. The Operator ensures safe and efficient operation of multiple types of forklift equipment and may also perform order filler or order checker duties as needed, while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and adherence to safety procedures. Employees in this position must spend fifty percent or more of their work time operating these forklifts as part of their core job duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Preferred 2 plus years of experience of forklift operation experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies
