NFI in Texas is seeking a Forklift Operator II to move, stack, and count merchandise using forklift equipment in a fast-paced warehouse. You will spend the majority of your time operating equipment safely while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
Responsibilities include pre-operation inspections, unloading inbound shipments, order picking, staging for outbound loads, and using RF scanners to support inventory accuracy. A HS diploma or GED and forklift certification are required or preferred.
The Forklift Operator II is responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse environment. The Operator ensures safe and efficient operation of multiple types of forklift equipment and may also perform order filler or order checker duties as needed, while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and adherence to safety procedures. Employees in this position must spend fifty percent or more of their work time operating these forklifts as part of their core job duties.
