Forklift Operator II
As a Team Member, you will safely and efficiently operate motorized forklifts to load and unload trucks, pull pallets of finished products from production lines, and place finished products in the warehouse as directed by the onboard WMS system.
Essential Functions
- Operate the forklift by moving levers and pressing pedals to control movement and lifting.
- Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering the lifting device.
- Plan supply and material requirements by studying production schedules and scheduling deliveries.
- Retrieve supplies by studying specifications, locating, verifying, and securing pallets on trucks, and moving pallets to production locations.
- Maintain inventory by tracking usage and reporting discrepancies.
- Clear production areas by securing and moving finished and empty pallets.
- Document actions by logging movements of supplies, materials, and finished goods.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following safety standards and procedures and complying with regulations.
- Keep the forklift in good working condition through proper operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
- Participate in educational opportunities to update job knowledge.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment or related field.
- Proven ability to operate a sit-down motorized forklift safely.
- Ability to navigate within a WMS system.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in a similar environment and role.

Education
- Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED.
