Company/Location Overview

Iron Bull Distillery, part of the Sazerac Company, is located in Halethorpe, Maryland. We offer a great work culture, competitive compensation and benefits, and a focus on work/life balance. We are currently seeking a reliable Forklift Driver/Warehouse Technician to join our team. Our operating days are Monday-Thursday and some Fridays. The current shift available is 5PM-3AM.

Position Overview

The forklift operator is responsible for improving storage, shipping, receiving, and overall warehouse organization and sanitation. Operators use forklifts and manual labor to receive, store, maintain, pick, and load products, ensuring safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely, comply with safety requirements, report concerns, participate in safety inspections, and keep the workplace clean.
• Provide excellent customer service, seek continuous improvement, and adhere to established standards.
• Follow company procedures and regulations, and suggest improvements.

• Enhance skills annually, deliver performance outcomes, and develop career goals.
• Maintain a clean work area, improve load and dock times, and maximize order processing efficiency.

Requirements

• GED and/or HS Diploma
• Skilled in operating stand-up forklifts and safe lifting techniques
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and objects up to 50 pounds
• Minimum of 6 months of growth in previous positions
• Ability to operate industrial equipment

Physical Requirements

• Operate industrial equipment and handle objects up to 50 pounds
• Good vision at 20 feet or more, and three-dimensional judgment
• Work in a loud environment and attend in person
• Work 10+ hour shifts and overtime if needed

Compensation

USD $21.74 - $23.63 per hour
