NFI is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator I to join our warehouse team in Elwood, IL. You will operate forklifts and related equipment to move, stack, and count merchandise, while ensuring safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include pre-operation inspections, order picking, inventory support, and using RF scanners. The role requires attention to detail, basic math, good customer service, and the ability to pass the company's forklift certification.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred 6 months forklift operation experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment.
• Must qualify and pass NFI forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsabilidades

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures.
• Completes and documents required pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Stacks and stores merchandise using forklift, clamp, or push-pull equipment.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations.
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment in accordance with customer requirements.
• Performs order picking in an accurate, timely, and customer-service-focused manner.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and supports cycle counts as directed.
