Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move materials from inventory to production and back, ensuring accurate records and timely supply to production.

Schedule is 12:45pm - 11:15pm, Monday through Thursday. Requires basic math, willingness to complete forklift licensing, and at least 18 years old. Company offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9th grade education; HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift driving experience preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic math and inventory techniques knowledge preferred.
• Complete Forklift Driver licensing process.

Responsibilities

• Move material between stations as needed.
• Band, wrap, pack, and label finished goods.
• Move finished goods to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Provide preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist.
• Maintain organized inventory yard.
• Complete production records.
• Follow forklift safety rules per company policy.
• Participate in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.
