UFP Industries, Inc. in Thornton, California seeks a Forklift Operator I to move materials between inventory and production, ensuring accurate paperwork and records. You will support production with timely material flow and maintain organized inventory areas.

The role requires basic math skills, forklift experience, and adherence to safety policies. Training and company-wide safety programs are provided.

Formación

• Minimum 9th grade education; HS diploma or GED preferred.
• 6–12 months forklift driving experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Move material between inventory, production, and finished goods as needed.
• Band, wrap, pack, and label finished goods and material.
• Move finished goods to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Provide basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report issues.
• Maintain organized inventory yard.
• Complete production records as required.
• Follow forklift rules and Company policy.
• Participate in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
